The free tool allows all types of businesses to customize the way their information is displayed on Apple apps
Apple introduced today Apple business relationshipIt’s a free tool that allows businesses of all sizes to request location cards and make key information visible to over one billion Apple users in Apple Maps, Messages, Wallet, Siri and other apps.
“We created Business Connect to provide Apple users around the world with the most accurate information for dining, shopping, travel and more,” said Eddie Cui, Apple’s senior vice president of services. “Apple Business Connect gives every business owner the ability to connect directly with customers and gain more control over the way billions of people see and engage with their products and services every day.”
Improving customer engagement in Apple Maps
With Business Connect, businesses around the world can manage their information directly on an interactive Apple Maps place card, including adding and updating photos and logos. Invite customers to take actions such as ordering food or making reservations directly from Maps; and offering customers special promotions.
Shows, a new feature in Place Cards, helps businesses present offers and incentives to customers, such as seasonal menu items, product discounts and more. Businesses can easily update the display section of their place card with Business Contact. The demos are available to businesses in the US starting today, and will be available to businesses globally in the coming months.
Businesses can provide valuable information by highlighting actions for customers to take directly from the Maps place card, such as ordering groceries through Instacart, booking a hotel through Booking.com or making a dinner reservation through OpenTable, and more with just a tap.
Registering for a business relationship
Business owners can use their existing Apple ID – or create a new Apple ID – to sign up for business contacts Self service website From any desktop or laptop computer. Once a business is signed in and Apple verifies their business, they can begin requesting their location(s) and updating and personalizing their location card, all for free.
For businesses with multiple locations, it includes Business Connect to easily deliver accurate and up-to-date information to maps by management agencies such as Reputation, Rio SEO, SOCI, Uberall, and Yext.
